LOS ANGELES CHAPTER
LEADERSHIP UPDATES
A Message from the French in Motion Board
Dear French in Motion Community,
We are writing today to share some important updates regarding our leadership and chapters.
Caroline Maréchal is stepping down from her roles as Vice President and Head of Communications at French in Motion. In these two closely intertwined positions, Caroline has been the voice and face of our organization — shaping how we present ourselves to the world, engaging our community, and ensuring that the FIM story was told with consistency, warmth, and purpose. Her work behind the scenes has been as vital as it has been visible, and the organization she leaves behind is stronger for it.
At the same time, Sacha Chaban is stepping down from his role as Head of the Los Angeles Chapter. Sacha has been a driving force behind FIM's presence on the West Coast, building and nurturing a vibrant community of film and television professionals in one of the world's most dynamic creative cities. His energy and vision have been instrumental in making the LA chapter what it is today.
We are deeply grateful to both Caroline and Sacha for everything they have brought to French in Motion, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
We are equally delighted to announce two nominations.
Antoine de Cazotte has been nominated as Vice President of French in Motion. Antoine's love of cinema began at age nine on a film set, and he has spent a lifetime mastering his craft as a Production Manager, Line Producer, and Executive Producer. He worked alongside legendary filmmaker Jacques Perrin for twenty years and is an Academy Award winner for The Artist. A screenwriter as well, Antoine brings a rich, multidimensional perspective to our board and to the future of FIM.
Juliette Bouquerel has been promoted to Head of the Los Angeles Chapter. Already a cornerstone of the FIM family, Juliette is a French-American creative producer with over two decades of experience in major multimedia productions for leading brands and international institutions. She is the organizer of the Films on the Green Festival in Los Angeles and is currently producing the documentary Nature Is My Teacher. Her deep roots in the industry and her passion for cross-cultural storytelling make her the ideal person to lead the LA chapter forward.
Please join us in thanking Caroline and Sacha for their remarkable dedication, and in warmly welcoming Antoine and Juliette to their new roles.
Warmly, The French in Motion Board
