Who we are

Created in 2016, FRENCH IN MOTION is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with chapters in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington DC. We bring together a growing community of nearly 400 film and TV talent and professionals from both sides of the Atlantic.

Led by an executive board of seasoned industry executives and producers, French In Motion champions award-winning international co-productions in film and TV, including an Oscar-nominated feature.

WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to foster exchanges and collaborations between the US industry and French and European professionals. To that purpose, we have built an international community through:

• An annual exchange program between the US and France, US & French Connection, supporting the development of award-winning international co-productions in the early stage by helping emerging talent find partners on the other side of the Atlantic

• Strategic partnerships with CNC, the Gotham (formerly, IFP), the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, Unifrance, Canneseries, and FIAF around prestigious events 

• Year-round programming with the US industry, to help our members navigate financing, production, and distribution in the US and Europe, empowering them to transform cultural differences into opportunities.
