COMMUNITY PARTNER FOR THE UPCOMING American French Film Festival 2025
We’re thrilled to announce that French in Motion is a Community Partner of the 29th edition of The American French Film Festival (TAFFF) — taking place October 28 to November 3, 2025, at the Directors Guild of America Theater Complex in Los Angeles.
Presented by the Franco-American Cultural Fund—a partnership between the DGA, MPA, SACEM, and WGA West—the festival celebrates the best of contemporary French cinema and television, with over 70 films and series fresh from Cannes, Venice, and beyond, all subtitled in English.
This year’s program reflects the diversity, creativity, and audacity of French storytelling, featuring major premieres, award contenders, and rising talents shaping the future of French cinema.

It Was Just an Accident by Jafar Panahi, France’s official entry for the 2026 Oscars
A Private Life by Rebecca Zlotowski, Opening Film, with a special rerun and Q&A with the filmmaker (10/29)
New Horizons, a new section spotlighting filmmakers such as Quentin Dupieux, Léonor Serraille, Valérie Donzelli, and Claire Denis, offering bold and distinctive cinematic visions
The Next Wave Spotlight, a selection of 10 first and second features from a new generation of inspired directors
The Richest Woman in the World by Thierry Klifa, starring Isabelle Huppert, followed by a conversation with the filmmaker
Sirât by Óliver Laxe, Spain’s Oscar submission
The Little Sister by Hafsia Herzi, followed by a conversation with Nadia Melliti (Winner, Best Actress – Cannes 2025)
