Game of Truth explores the lasting trauma of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, focusing on families seeking justice for loved ones lost to British counterterrorism tactics and covert operations during the conflict. The film follows their emotional journey to uncover the truth and exposes the deep scars left by state-sponsored secrecy and decades of violence.

Fabienne Lips-Dumas is a producer, director, writer, and journalist passionate about the world's major issues. In 2015, with Arte, RTBF, and YLE, she wrote and directed a documentary on the proliferation and legacy of chemical weapons arsenals.. “Winds of Chemical Warfare" was broadcast worldwide and presented at the United Nations. Just before that, she produced and directed "Noir Soleil" with Canal+ +, a documentary about Cité Soleil, a slum in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. "Children of Armageddon," a feature film produced with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, has won awards at festivals around the world, including the International Federation for Human Rights Award, the Palme d'Or in Mexico, the Audience Award at the Kansas International Film Festival, the Grand Prix in Port-neuf, and the Best Feature Documentary Award at the Nonviolent Film Festival. One of her favorite films is “The Nature of Eve” a documentary produced by the National Film Board of Canada. This film is a personal journey between science and religion. Some of the world's top scientists participated, including Richard Dawkins, Stephen Jay Gould, and Nobel Prize winner François Jacob. She also wrote and directed two films about the Pacific Northwest: “Raven in the Sun," about Haida artist Bill Reid, and "I, Emile Petitot,” about a missionary who was also an explorer. of the Arctic and its people. She wrote for the French magazine XXI and has been published by the newspaper Le Monde. In 2022, her first novel: Les Virtuosos de Brooklyn ("The Virtuosos of Brooklyn) ” was published by the Editions Anne Carrière. She lives in Virginia and has been a member of French In Motion DC since 2018.
Alan Fisher is the Senior Correspondent for the global news channel, Al Jazeera English, based in Washington DC.
A journalist for more than 40 years, he has covered conflict and civil unrest in hotspots around the world, from Iraq and Bosnia, to the wars in Georgia and Ukraine. He has reported extensively from across the Middle East. During his three years, based in Belfast, he covered significant moments during the 'Troubles' and the first steps in the peace process. He has returned to the province many times since.
