EARTH DAY - ONE HOME

  • Cultural Center, Lycée Français de New York 505 East 75th Street New York, NY, 10021 United States (map)

The French in Motion NY Chapter is delighted to invite you to a compelling evening dedicated to our oceans and marine biodiversity in celebration of Earth Day.

At the heart of this event is ONE HOME, a visionary project by Jean-Pierre Goux that invites us to perceive our planet as a shared home. By blending art, storytelling, and environmental awareness, One Home offers a powerful, poetic perspective on the beauty and fragility of Earth.

Through a curated screening of NASA footage and an in-depth discussion on our oceans, this evening will explore the urgent environmental challenges facing our marine ecosystems.

Join us in participating in "the Blue Revolution" movement and help us illuminate the "blue point" on the global map!

The discussion in English will be moderated by Stéphanie Valloatto, film director and Head of French in Motion’s NY Chapter, with:

Jean-Pierre Goux: Environmental activist, author (Siècle Bleu), and former researcher in mathematics. Through his NGO One Home, he promotes a planetary shift in consciousness using space-based views of Earth.

Erika Antoine-Souklaye: Strategic Communications Advisor at UNCDF. With over 17 years of experience within the UN system, she is a global leader in sustainable development and strategic innovation.

Special Guests: Camille Barre, teacher at the Lycée Français de New York, and Louise, a 10th-grade student, who will share their personal commitments to environmental action.

This special Earth Day event is organized in partnership with the Cultural Center of the Lycée Français de New York.
