NOTRE DAME RESURRECTION
French in Motion is delighted to present its first MOVIE NIGHTS screening in New York with the feature documentary Notre-Dame Résurrection, directed by Xavier Lefebvre and written by Alain Zenou, on December 17, 2025, at the Centre Culturel of le Lycée Français.
This screening is part of a three-city U.S. premiere tour, which includes: Washington, DC (Dec 1) • Los Angeles (Dec 11) • New York (Dec 17).
NOTRE DAME RESURRECTION was filmed over five years and offers a rare, intimate look at the extraordinary reconstruction of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris following the 2019 fire. With unprecedented access, extensive footage, and exclusive interviews with the artisans, architects, and teams involved, the film captures the human, technical, and artistic challenges behind one of the most ambitious restoration projects of the century.
